Some more CHA goodies are in DA HOUSE!

Cosmocrickethoneypiecraftingkit So, last night I stayed up way too late uploading new product to the store!!  I have some awesome new things in the store for you!

I received some Cosmo Cricket Paper Crafting kits which include all of the papers, 2 diecut sheets, and a strip tease sheet in the Get Happy, Cogsmo, and Honey Pie collections.  I also have the ribbon packs to match these collections.

We have also re-stocked on some of the ATG 1/4" Gold tape refills.  This is for our "big-girl" adhesive guns.  If you haven't checked out the ATG gun and adhesive, you should!!  Even though these guns are larger than our "normal" adhesive applicators for scrapping, this thing rocks!!  You NEVER lose it on your Hamblyoverlayonedgeblack scrap space, and it's cheaper than most of the tape runners with refills, per foot.

We got in some new Hambly overlays as well.  We stocked some of their Clearly Heavy Overlays, which are awesome for clear mini-books!  They are clear but is much thicker than their normal overlays.  We also got a few designed overlays including Chic Circles, On Edge, and a Journaling Bits that is just beautiful!!  It's white metallic paper and the journaling Kiloveelsiecodyrubonsparts are written with Silver Ink.  Just cut them out and adhere to your page for a very elegant journaling box.

We chose a few really cute Love, Elsie papers, chipboard buttons, rubons and ribbons from the 2 new lines, Cody and Claire.  We have a few more pieces in this line on order and should be receiving it within the next couple of weeks.  These lines have their signature doodling and free-style look in new and fresh colors.  Claire has lots of pink and purple with a very girly theme.  Cody is sports-minded and perfect for a teenage boy!

KI Memories also added more lace cardstock to their line, and we have 7 new versions of this GEORGEOUS paper!  Lullaby is perfect for babies (available in both pink and blue), Hearts, Bouquet, and posies are pretty flowers.  The Journal lace cardstock is so cool and has words typically used on a vacation.  You can use the whole sheet, or you can just snip out the words you want to use.  This is a very versatile release of lace cardstock!

My Mind's Eye released another beautiful set of papers at CHA this winter!  We are stocking the Just Dreamy collections.  The Day Dream collection is just beautiful for girls...and the Star Bright papers will be featured in our April Super Star kit.  You can purchase the papers a la carte, or you can get them in a collection kit, where you get all of the papers, diecut accessory sheet, all in Sbtrends200801_2one collection kit.

And the last thing to tell you about is our monthly idea books/magazines from  Scrapbook Trends, Paper Trends, and Cards.  We stock these monthly idea books at 40% off past issues.  These idea books are beautifully photographed, they have awesome ideas inside, with very little advertising!  So, if you're looking for some ideas you can use on your layouts, cards, or altered paper crafts, these are perfect idea books for you!

If you're ever wondering what's new in the store at A Walk Down Memory Lane, you can find a link to NEW PRODUCTS in the left hand column under the store categories.  This will list all items from newest added at the top.

Check back again tomorrow as we'll start posting some sneak peeks from the 2 April kits that are going to be released April 1.  These kits are jam packed with the latest pattern papers and we've added some really cool embellishments with these kits this month!  Crackle Paint, Acrylic stars, and much more!

Last look at SillyPea

Livvy_flower March is slowly coming to an end...is it ending as a lamb for you?  It certainly was lion-ish around here for *most* of the month!!  I'm hoping for some nice spring weather soon!

Here are a few projects that our Guest Design team came up with using the Silly Pea kit.  While the kit has sold out, there are a number of the papers, cardstock, and embellishments you can get a la carte to create some of these fun projects!

In the first 8x8 layout, you'll see that Meredith cut out flowers from the Pink Martini papers and used the Purple Funk cardstock. She also used the Doodlebug Icon rhinestones to Me_sillypea_card24 accent her journaling strips.

In the card on the right, Meredith used the Studio 8 Papers for her card "base".  She used more cutout flowers from the Pink Martini papers.  She used a Lizzie Anne Designs stamp for the flower stem, and used the Doodlebug buttons on her bottom border.  The Sentiment is also a stamp from Lizzie Anne Designs.

One last look at the Spring Morning kit

Scrapbook_spread Isn't this a gorgeous layout??  One of our Guest Designers for March took some pictures of her beautiful daughter when she got this kit, just to design this layout for us!!

The Spring Morning kit has some beautiful papers from Making Memories Garden Party line, along with Imaginisce For Peep's Sake.  MemorylanetallHere, Tricia used the Garden Party papers and  added in the Prima Ribbon velvet flower trim.  She also used the chipboard alphabet included in the kit, and added a Lizzie Anne Designs stamp.

The next project is a tall card that Trudee designed.  It also uses the Making Memories Garden Party papers, felt flowers, button, and chipboard alphabet.

Taylorfriendcard The last card for today, was made by Taylor.  She used the Spring Morning kit also and added the Imaginisce flower stamp.  Instead of coloring in the flowers, she used the velvet brads that are included in the kit.

There are just a few kits left with these beautiful spring projects!!  You'll want to pick yours up soon, before theyr'e GONE!!  The SillyPea kit has already sold out this month, but we have a few of the pieces still available as add-ons.

Hope you all had a GREAT Easter!

We have a brand-spankin' new vendor making an appearance at A Walk Down Memory Lane's store!!

We are debuting the 2 new lines from Pink Paislee!!  We have the full range of all of their products on a UPS truck and heading here today!

Office Lingo is the collection on the right.  There are 6 pattern papers, 2 diecut pattern papers, and a 12x12 overlay.  You can also find coordinating alphabet cardstock stickers to match this line!

Pinkpaisleespringflinggroup Spring Fling is their second collection.  You will find 6 more pattern papers, 2 diecut pattern papers, and an overlay, along with matching alphabet stickers.

Pink Paislee also has some clear acrylic stamps that should be shipping within the next couple of weeks.  These are some adorable stamps that you can get in sets, or lots of individual stamps as well!

We're sure you'll fall in love with this new company as much as we have!  Here is a cute sample project from one of the Pink Paislee girls.

Pinkpaisleespringbasket Take note how Davinie stamped and handcut all of her flowers using the Spring Fling stamp set. Then she stacked them in layers between buttons. Just so adorable.

More CHA Goodies rolling in!

Babygirl_web  I have been a busy little bee, putting in new products from CHA into the store!  Products like Bo Bunny, Paper Trunk, My Mind's Eye and many more!

I also have gotten shipping notices from Pink Paislee, Cosmo Cricket, Teresa Collins with their new goodies arriving soon!

I should be getting a few more companies yet this month, like Basic Grey, Heidi Swapp, Piggy Tales, Making Memories Animal Crackers, and Heidi Grace to name a few!

On a non-scrapbook related note....I need to do a little shout out to basketball fans.  :)  I got the opportunity to watch my cousin, Debbie Remmerde, play in the NAIA Division 2 women's basketball championship Tuesday night.  She plays for Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa.  It was an awesome game to watch if you're a Red Raiders fan!  We were a bit worried at halftime when they were down by 7 points, but in the end, they won the championship game with a score of 82 to 75.  Debbie had scored half of Northwestern's points during the game with 41 points.  She was named to the All-American NAIA team, the MVP of the NAIA Division 2 tournament, and NAIA Player of the year.  She finished just 1 point short to tie a NAIA record.  She holds a number of different scoring records in Iowa, and a few in NAIA collegiate basketball as well.  We are very proud of her and the whole Red Raider team!

Beckyfleckpagemaps Are you a fan of Becky Fleck's sketches?  She has an enormously popular web site dedicated to sketches, and now you can get more of her sketches in a beautiful book!

This book has a hard cover, inside spiral binding, which makes it very easy to set on your table and leave it open while you're working.

It also comes with these cute little "playing card" size sketches you can punch out of the back of the book, stick them in the little box that comes with them, and take them to your next crop!

This books has a number of sketches along with some layouts to show you how to go from sketch to completed layout, making the sketch your own.

There also are a few tip and techniques scattered throughout the book as well.

We have just received our first batch of books and have them available in the store right now!  They are going fast, and the warehouse says they're running out quickly too, so we have another order in already.  Otherwise, they're saying it will be a few months before they're available after a re-print.  So, head on over to the store and grab your copy today!

Springtime Flowers card

Dbteengirlcard This was a fun and easy card to make.  I pulled some Bazzill cardstock and stamped it with the Doodlebug Teen Girl stamp.  The striped and blue floral patterned paper is from Daisy Buckets.  I inked the edges of the papers.  The flower is also from the Doodlebug stamp set.  First I stamped the flower outline then using a lighter blue ink, I stamped the shadow.  The great things about the clear acrylic is you can see EXACTLY where you're placing your stamp.  The little crystal brad is by Making Memories.
