Adorable Acrylic Mini Frame

Pic_1 Francine came up with an adorable little mini frame using the June Summer Afternoon kit available at the store.

She used October Afternoon Detours papers and diecut shapes, American Crafts ribbon, Clear Scraps acrylic shapes, Kaiser Crafts rhinestones, KI Memories Lace Cardstock, and Polar Bear Press rubons.

These are all available in the kit.  You can also buy a lot of these items individually if you like.

You can download the .pdf instruction sheet HERE.

Francine brought us this class during our Make Me a Super Scrapper contest kickoff crop on Saturday.  One of our message board members didn't have the kit yet, so she made up her own version of the frame.  It turned out very cute!

If you make up a mini frame using these instructions, please share a link to your final project in the comments section here.  We'd love to see what you do!!

BONUS Mini Accordian Album Tutorial

Sany1922 * this project will make 3 mini albums

By Lucy Chesna

Here is a BONUS mini-album tutorial for our newsletter subscribers!

This album would be perfect to show off your little girl's last day of school this year.  Or how about a gift album for your favorite graduate.

Supply List

2 pkgs Bazzill Real Big Chipboard Square Tags

2 sheets Bazzill 12x12 Precious Cardstock

2 sheets Teresa Collins Bella Girl XOXO Paper

Inking in black

White Paint

Maya Road City Las Vegas Cityscape Ribbon

Pop dots (optional)

Directions

1.      Paint the back of the chipboard that is raw in white …let it dry

2.      Ink both chipboards on the edges

3.      Take your cardstock and cut 2 strips of 2 by 12 paper

4.      Score each strip at 2 ½, 5, 7, and 10

5.      Now fold the score lines and you have 2 accordion sheets of paper

6.      Take one of the pieces of  2 by 12 paper and cut the small strip off it then take the other one that has the small strip ….add glue to it and adhere to the other 2 by 12 strip so you have one long accordion strip of paper

7.      Ink it if you like

8.      Adhere one side to the tag and then again do the same thing on the other side with the other tag (NOTE: make the tags lay opposite to each other so it will give you handles on each side of the album)

9.      Now take your Teresa Collins pp and cut the side that has 4 squares of designs and you will have 4 separate pieces to use in your mini album

10.  Cut the pieces 2 ¼ by 2 ¼  to fit in the album ( your photos will be 2 x 2 to fit in the album)

11.  Front cover will have XOXO pp and then I cut out the heart with wings and use glued dots to put on the front of the cover

12.  Back cover I used glue doted to put the ribbon across the tag then adhere the XOXO pp on top of it. This will secure the ribbon and then you can loop the ribbon thru the holes and tie it in the front ( this will be later after you finish embellishing your mini album)Sany1923_2

13.  Now glue your pieces of 2 ¼ by 2 ¼ pp to your album and embellish to your likings

14.  Your are done to make 2 more in this kit

Here are some pictures of both sides of the accordian album.

Sany1924_2     We'd love to see your finished projects if you used this tutorial to make an accordian album.  Link your album to the comments section here on the blog!

Dazzling Daisy Home Decor class

Dazzlingdaisydecorclasskit This class is a cute little home decor project you can make for a desk, window sill, or just about anywhere!  This class uses the Adorn It Naked Flower with Wood Base to start.  The sample I'm showing in this sample uses SEI Cupid's Candy Shoppe papers and embellishments.  I also used a bit of Stickles and some Marvy Twinklette markers to give it a bit of sparkle and shine.  For the base, I used my Cricut to cut out the "bloom" on the bottom.

You can download the instructions and supply list HERE

We'd love to see your version of this finished project!  Please link your finished album here in the comments section, so we can check it out!
