All this cold and snow has me longing for the warm days of summer. If you're feeling like me, maybe scrapping about summer fun might be your fix. Last month AWDML got Campfire from October Afternoon. I could go on about how this is the perfect line for scrapping camping trips, how cute the stickers are, how great the patterns are, but instead I'll just show you a few of my favorite pieces from Campfire.
This paper's called Camp Stove. I'm always up for a good striped paper, and this one is fantastic. The back side is just as good. It's hard some times to find a good yellow piece of patterned paper, but the back side on this one fits the bill.
Do stickers get any cuter than this? Now, I've heard a lot of talk about how cute that bear is, but I think the fox gives him a run for his money.
I fell head over heals in love with this paper the first time I saw it. This picture's good, but in person, it's great! The stars on the paper look like they're glowing. A must have for scrapping pics of my husband and son camping under the stars.
Give me a moment...I'm just imagining all of the great cards I can make with these Tin Pins. They're oh so cute with a rustic feel. Love it! You can check out the entire Campfire Line by clicking here.
I've been having so much fun working with stuff from The Girls' Paperie. I love the color combos and patterns of the papers, the stamps are stunning, but what I love most are the accessories. Every line has beautiful accessories like coordinating stickers, trims, brads, paper charms, die-cuts...the list goes on. Don't take my word for it, check them out for yourself. You're going to fall in love!

Every year I like to make a little something for the ladies in my family. This year I decided to make homemade turtles, but I wanted to wrap them up in something fun. I started playing with the idea of a treat bag and came up with this. I used my Silhouette to cut the template for the bag, but you could just as easily create this with a Cricut file or hand cut and fold it.
The trick to making this bag fun and unique is the window cut into the bag. Again, I used my Silhouette to cut the window, but your Cricut or a large punch like this one from EK Success would work really well, too. Use clear plastic (acetate, vellum, etc.) to cover the window (from the inside of the bag). Stamp on the window using a permanent ink like White Staz-on, or stamp with Versamark, cover in white embossing powder, and heat set.

'Tis the season for showing off great Christmas and winter lines! Echo Park has a 3 really fun lines out right now that cover those themes. If you're looking for a bright, fun, and bold way to scrap Christmas, you can't go wrong with Everybody Loves Christmas. I love that Lisa decided to scrap the whole Christmas card and not just the photo from the card!
If you're looking for something a bit more traditional, check out Merry Christmas. It's everything you've come to expect from Echo Park, but in more traditional Christmas colors.
Finally, if you're looking for something to capture the spirit of winter (maybe you want to scrap some photos of this past weekend's blizzard?) check out Echo Park's Wintertime. This line will have you wanting in nice hot cup of cocoa!
If you're starting to feel the last minute Christmas time crunch, we've got a few things in store that might help you out.
First up, Lisa still has space left in her Gift Card Wrapping Class this Wednesday, December 15, at 6 pm. If you're at a loss when it comes to presenting Gift Cards, you'll find some fun ideas on how you can personalize gift cards for recipients. When giving gift cards, make the presentation count! You'll make 2 different projects with matching cards. The cost is only $10.
Second, if you're looking for great ideas to make your own Christmas Cards at home, the store is full of great examples and the supplies you'll need to make beautiful handcrafted cards like this one (that uses My Mind's Eye's Holly Jolly Christmas line). The best part is that many of them can be made quickly!
Finally, our monthly installment of A Year Of Cards With Basic Grey is coming up this Saturday, December 18, at 10:30 am. You'll make 4 cards in class, have some fun adding sparkle to cards, and take home the supplies and directions to make the following 12 cards at home. The cost is just $20.
Wishing you a crafty Christmas!
