Have you met my new friends?
If I haven't told you lately...I really, really love owning my own scrapbook store. I get to explore the world to find some of the coolest new companies and new products for YOU to put in YOUR scrapbooks! Lately, I've been checking out the mid-release products, and have found some really cool stuff for the store. Sit back and relax for a bit...I've got some beautiful things to show you!!
Bo Bunny released some new collections, and they are just too cute! The first one is Sun Kissed. This is PERFECT for summer pictures at the beach, at the pool, or even running through the sprinkler. I just love the bright colors of this collection. Check out this fun cut-out paper. One side has various journaling cards to cut out, and the other side has four 6x6 panels to cut out to make your own mini album if you choose.
The next collection is called Peacock Lane. If you hadn't noticed before, purple is one of my absolute favorite colors. But, it's so hard to find any scrapbook collections with any amount of purple in them...Bo Bunny's Peacock Lane collection to the rescue!! I'm not a huge fan of the peacock, so I've chosen the papers and embellishments with as little peacock feathers in them as possible, while still keeping the purple designs!
The last collection from Bo Bunny is Block Party. This is a perfect choice for those outdoor BBQ parties, neighborhood block parties, or even 4th of July outings. With the blues, greens and reds, it's also great for any boy pictures as well.
Another fun new summer collection is Cosmo Cricket's DeLovely. This collection will be making it's appearance in the store this week, and online later this week. It is different than the "normal" Cosmo Cricket collections, but the projects I've seen using these papers are so fun for summer!
How about a BRAND-SPANKIN' NEW company??!? If you haven't checked out Echo Park Paper, you're missing out. This new company debuted last month and we have their first 2 complete lines. Sweet Summertime is some delicious colors. Every time I walk by their section in the store it makes me happy. The colors are just...well, delicious! Their newest collection is called Walk in the Park. These are a bit warmer colors and very rich looking papers. They are designed so you can use them for just about any occasion from spring to summer, everyday play, or birthdays.
Up next is Jillibean Soup's Summer Squash collection. These are just plain old fun and pretty papers. The colors are so bright and cheerful and they have such basic patterns as stripes and flowers...but this one here...this one made me so giddy. These are such ADORABLE little paper lanterns strewn across the paper. These are just so pretty, I just might stage a fun little party in my front porch with newly purchased lanterns hanging in my porch JUST to use this paper!!
If you're looking for some new patriotic papers to use for 4th o f July...look no further than Pink Paislee's Star Light collection. They have taken some deep, rich reds and blues and paired it with a creamy neutral to give you a new take on the traditional.
Another new company is Studio Calico. We picked up this company after CHA in January and have all 3 of their collections. The newest is called Documentary, and is primarily for vacation or travel pictures. However...wouldn't these be fun for your everyday boys playing pictures too?
For you stamping girls...I haven't forgotten about you! :) We have picked up a new stamp company called Lawn Fawn. They are a newer company that makes acrylic stamps. They have a cute and whimsical feel to them, and I'm really excited to ink them up and make some cards with them. Check out this cute set with build your own cupcakes and layer cakes.
I think that's about it for new collections so far. I do have a few mid-release collections that are still on their way from Little Yellow Bicycle that will be perfect for summer, and I'm hoping they'll be here soon.
I also got in some new themed packs from Karen Foster for amusement park trips, fishing and hunting, Tooth Fairy visits and new stickers for baseball and softball.
