I'm a very patriotic person. The older I get the more patriotic I become. The flag, the National Anthem, our countries "theme songs"... all of it gets to me way deep down inside. I think our flag is one of the most beautiful things to look at waving proudly above our schools, hospitals, government buildings and on homes in our neighborhoods.
Being that it's Memorial Day and a day to remember all our brothers and sisters, husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, aunts, uncles and cousins and friends who have given so freely of themselves for our freedom, I decided to highlight all the beautiful products in the store that so beautifully lend themselves to art work that commemorates their unselfish service. This is also a chance for me to say thank you. Thank you to the girlfriends, boyfriends, friends and family members of all those who serve for their sacrifices as well.
So check it out! Have you seen Basic Grey's "Boxer" line up close and personal? It's amazing! The red white and blue patterns in this paper are gorgeous. The colors are rich and the patterns are beautiful. Definitely not a disappointment from Basic Grey.
How about the GCD Studios "Rockets Red Glare"? This is a new line of scrapbook products who debuted at CHA and they're amazing! You'll definitely want to check them out!
Take a peek at Sassafrass Lass "Blue Boutique". Gorgeous! Kind of dainty and flowery but beautiful. You can use this for sure on your Fourth of July photos.
How about those photos of someone special in their uniform? Check out Paper Trunk's Gigi line. There are some pieces that wouldn't work so well but many of these papers are perfect! Check out "Graceful", "Strong" and "Wise". Perfect!
You have to take a look at Dream Street's "A Letter from Julia". This a fresh and lovely paper line that is subdued and would easily draw out the gentleness of the relationships you're scrapping.
