I absolutely loved this month's Summer Afternoon kit. It's filled with yummy October Afternoon and Rouge de Garance papers, as well as fun embellishments and extras. Here's what I've made with it so far.

If you haven't stopped by TSS Gallery lately, you are totally missing out on some fabulous eye candy! The very talented "Make Me a Super Scrapper Contest" participants have been hard at work (or is it play?) creating some gorgeous layouts! Here is just a small sampling. Go to the Contest Gallery if you want to get really inspired, and while you are there be sure to give the participants some gallery lovin'! :)
Are you ready for Week 2????
As you may know I don't have any kids (yet. maybe. lol) so many of my pages are about myself. I think it's really important to do pages about yourself so that people will know who you are, what you were thinking, what you like or dislik etc. Be they your children or just your family and friends
So my challenge to you this week is to do an All About Me Page. There are a few other rules of course 
1. You may use as many photos as you like but they must all be of YOU only. No one else in the photo(s) please.
2. Journaling that you wrote yourself must be included - i.e. no quotes or poems etc and should focus on something unique or special about you
3. Use at least three patterned papers
4. Remember this week you're working with KI Memories so the majority of your layout must use products from KI
You will have until 11:59 PM CST Saturday June 28th to upload your layout to the special MMASS gallery.

Wow has the gallery been flooded by some talented scrappers and I sure we still have a few lurkers. You still have time get scrappin supplies out and start SCRAPPIN! After all what a fabulous prize....a GDT spot on our Design Team! Whoot Whoot!

Happy Father's day to all our husbands and fathers today. It's obviously a great day to show off layouts about our relationships with our fathers, our children's relationships with our husbands etc. Being that I've been in bed for over a week now, I'm more than grateful for my husband and how he's been such a great father to our little guy this week.
This is a great time of year to gift the fathers in our lives with special albums and pages just for them. Last year I gave my dad a mini album all about how he had become not just my dad and mentor but also my friend and confidante. Let the dads in your life know just how special they are by dedicating an album, mini or standard, to them and the relationships they have in their families. Let them know that you don't just love them, you value them. Men need to know, just like we do, that they are valued in our lives. Don't miss this golden opportunity!

This layout was one I made to dedicate the special relationship my husband has with our little Dalton.
I love the mini album Angie has made for her Dad for Father's Day. This is just one page of the collection of pages included in her little book. What a special relationship her Dad has with her little one!
This last selection is postively precious and portrays a philosophy to which I firmly subscribe. Thank you Lisa for sharing such a special layout!
So, while you're thanking your father, your grandfather, your husband, or just a special mentor in your life today, think about devoting some space or a mini album to them. They'll be so grateful and touched by you sharing your love in such a special way.

Well I have been busy....last Friday I revealed TSS/AWDML's June Kit "Fashionista". I must say I have not been able to put that kit down! I have been creating with it left and right. If you have it already please post your creations in the gallery I would love to see them! Some gorgeous projects have already been posted. I'm highlighting a few of them in this blog entry because I have to show you just how fun this kit is! ( I have to also add that I just LOVE how member Mollyjoly ripped her pp to add to the theme of her pictures-gift opening, I can almost feel the emotion in the layout!)

I love sketches! I use them all the time to help jump start my creativity. I rarely make a layout that looks exactly like the sketch, but sketches seem to be a great starting point for me. I am also a sketch collector. I love to have an arsonal of sketches in my bag of tricks, for those days I am just not feeling the muse. Oh, and did I mention I like to create sketches, too? :) I thought I would share one with you! If you are like me, here is a new one to add to your collection. Enjoy and I hope it inspires you to create!
