Monday Sketch Challenge

Ok ladies and gents...I will be posting a sketch challenge every Monday and at the end of the month, there will be a random drawing for RAK from AWDML :). When you create the sketch please post it the Gallery then link it back here. The sketches will be random like layout in different sizes to cards.

Friday Gallery Eye Candy

Last weekend AWDML held "A Harvest of Memories Crop!  Well I can say that the members of the board were busy uploading projects to the gallery.  I barely had time to go through them all.  We had classes, challenges and games posted for all to participate in.  Here are just a few of the projects the members worked on:

Farewell -- kind of! :)

I just wanted to take this opportunity to send out a fond farewell as my Design Team term comes to a close.  It has been great getting to know many of the wonderful members at A Walk Down Memory Lane.  The past 6 months has helped to stretch me more creatively and given me the opportunity to expand my creative horizons!  I want to send out a great big thanks to Lisa for having me and to the other DT members for inspiring me.  I am not saying goodbye to the site, only to my CT position !  I still plan on hanging around and joining in the challenges.  You aren't getting rid of me that easily.  LOL!  I am really excited about the new DT members and all the great fun and challenges they have planned for the future.

An Ad Inspired Card

What a Friday!  Started off with no INTERNET!  But at last we are up and running!  Soooo I wanted to share how I interrupted the ad I posted last week Friday as inspiration.  Of course I plunged right into the latest kit I had from A Walk Down Memory Lanes...I just love the Basic Primaries Kit!  I created the following card all from supplies from the kit. Would you believe I actually used the name of one of the papers as my card sentiment?  Hello Sunshine was the name of one of the pattern papers included in the kit.  I simply cut off the part of the paper you normally would toss and used it on my card. If you have not already give the ad a try, upload your creations to the AWDML gallery!  Have fun!

Need More Inspiration?

I see that Kelly posted a great sketch to get your creative juices flowing.  I'm going with the same theme today!  When I seem to be stuck or at loss for inspiration I pick up some of the magazines laying around the house and browse through the ad layouts.  Usually I find something that catches my eye for design.

So I'm posting this ad...I would love to see what you do with it. Post your layouts or cards in the TSS/AWSML gallery using this ad as inspiration. I'll post my creation on next weeks blog entry!  Have fun! -Angie

Where's the message board?

You may have been trying to get to The Scrapbook Site forums and nothing was there!  What???  Well, Lisa has decided to move everything over to the A WalK Down Memory Lane url, to simplify things!  Simple is good!  So, don't dismay.... the boards,gallery, and scrapbooking fun will be back soon at www.awalkdownmemorylane.net !
