Who doesn't need more cards at Christmas? I know I always forget someone on my list and have to run out and get a card. I started making some "extras" just in case. I display them on the end table in my living room so they look festive and are right by the door if I need one in a hurry! I have seen some really cute cards made with overlays so I thought I give it a try.
For these cards I used an old Pink Paislee overlay I had in my stash that is not at all Christmas themed. This is a great way to use up those old overlays you have laying around. I also used the super cute Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses patterend paper and chipboard shapes. I love how the pink looks on holiday cards. I cut the cute little snowwoman with my cricut using the winter woodland cartridge. This is my new favorite cartridge. I have already used it dozens of times for both holiday themed projects and other. There are some really cute scalloped shapes on it. I threw in a few buttons, some ribbon and October Afteroon Good Cheer stickers and I had two cards in no time.
Directions:
-
Trim patterend paper to 3 x 7 inches.
-
Trim overlay to 3 x 6 inches.
-

-

And for today's christmas special- ALL AWDML collection kits are $10 (does not include Copic or card kits)!
