There are so many fun border punches on the market right now and they are getting well deserved attention. There are so many fun things do do with a great border punch -- let me share with you another fun thing to do --- this one uses all the little pieces left behind when we punch out those fun borders!
First off --- remember to punch out those borders over the desk area so you can save all the punched out pieces!
My first example uses this fun border punch from Martha Stewart, the Scallop Dot:
After you punch your porder with this one, you will have lots of little dots in two different sizes left over. They were the perfect addition to my birthday layout along side Imaginisce's Scooter's Vacation Line.

My next example uses another great border punch from Martha Stewart - the Daisy Dot.
After punching out my pink border strips, I was left with tiny little daisy flowers and even tinier dots. I alternated these and created an addition border element all the way around my pictures:
All that was left to do is add in tiny pearl bling to the center of all the flowers! These were the perfect compliment to the pretty new paper line - "Pink Plum" by Crate Paper!
Working with all those tiny elements does have challenges - especially in the adhesive department! I found two perfect things in my stash to make this easier: The Zig Two-Way Fine tip Glue Pen and the Tombow Glue Pen. You can find them both in the store - they make the job super easy!
