Hey there everyone...Stacy here. Today i'm going to show you how to make a fantastic flower using any size circle punch. Now the bigger the circle punch the bigger your flower will be. For my flower I used a 1 3/4" punch.
Ok so...grab your circle punch and whatever sheet of pattern paper you want. This works best if there is print on both sides of the paper. First you want to punch out 8 circles and then you will be ready to begin.
Next take your circle....(make sure you fold all eight circles the same way) Fold a small part from the bottom on both sides of the circle as shown below making sure they come together at a point.
Next flip your circle over and fold back from both sides until they meet in the middle. I usually put a little adhesive down under the flap to keep the flower flat. You want to do this will all 8 circles.
Now you are ready to adhere it to your project. You basically just layer them around in a circle. If you use a bigger punch you may have to layer them slightly as shown below.
The last thing you can do is make the center of your flower. You can add a button, a sticker, use a smaller punch and a different piece of pattern paper for the center. The possibilities are endless.
Now here is my complete layout with the flower on it.
On this layout I used the following products that you can grab at the ADWML Store. Simply love this paper line by Echo Park. This summertime line is fabulous!!! Great colors and fun sticker sheets to go with it, it also has some fabulous little alphas :) I used a couple of American Craftsthicker brackets at the top of the layout around my journaling.
Well hope you have enjoyed my flower tutorial...can't wait to see your creations.
Until next time...Happy Scrapping
~~Stacy~~
That is so cute! I'm so going to try it!
