Hey all, it's Erica!
My husband has a large family and we'll be hosting his father's side for a reunion this year. Which means one thing...I get to make invites!!! My father-in-law is one of three brothers who all had either 6 or 8 kids and they all have kids, which means a lot of invites, which means I need a fairly simple and easily replicated design. :)
I decided that the Sun Kissed line from Bo Bunny was a perfect choice for our reunion/BBQ/pool party.
I cut a 4x6 inch piece of Bo Bunny Sun Kissed Party to use as the base of my invite.
Then I cut a 2" x 6" strip of white Bazzill cardstock and punched along the bottom of it with the EK Success Bumpy Road punch.
I adhered the white strip to the top of the orange side of the Bo Bunny paper about 1/4" from the top. Then, I spelled out the word "reunion" with Thickers from American Crafts.
Next, I cut three squares from the opposite side of the Bo Bunny paper and rounded the corners with the smallest corner rounder from Ek Success.
Then, I adhered the three squares under the white Bazzill using Scotch Foam Masking Tape. This stuff is seriously my favorite dimensional adhesive, it's the perfect thickness and it holds everything but is just forgiving enough that I can carefully peel it off if I put it in the wrong spot. Love that!
Here's the finished front.
To create the back side, I cut a piece of white Bazzill 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" and centered it on the back of the invite.
I then cut out another square from the Party paper and used it as a cute accent next to all the invite info.
I hope you all enjoyed this simple little invite! Now I just need to make 25 more! :D
